Hunting Areas: Ehirovipuka - Kaokoland

Boet Nel Safaris have added a new hunting concession in Namibia's Kaokoland (Kunene Region) to its portfolio:

The Ehirovipuka Concession comprises of 400 000 acres of game-rich land, in north-western Namibia, bordering the Etosha National Park. Here you may hunt plains game and big game in one safari, in a free-roaming area with no fences. Your hunt will benefit conservation and the local community!

Ehirovipuka can best be described as really wild and free, with lots of wide open spaces and seemingly endless clear blue skies - an area with that special romantic atmosphere you expect when hunting on Africa.

Elephant, lion, leopard, cheetah, kudu, eland, Hartmann's zebra, gemsbok, giraffe, springbok, and spotted hyena are just some of the game species that occur naturally in this concession area.

ACCOMMODATION:

The Ehirovipuka Camp consists of tented accommodation with hot shower, hand basin and flush toilet. A fully equipped field kitchen and an open fireplace further enhance the atmosphere of a traditional African safari camp.

Fly camps providing bare necessities will only be used on 1-2 days, during any hunting safari.

TRANSPORT to/from Ehirovipuka

The driving time to the concession area from Boet Nel's base camp and Windhoek respectively is 7 hours one-way, by car. These overland transfers will be covered by the travel days to be added to each hunt booking - as per our page on daily rates.
