Daily Rates - Specie Available - Trophy Fees - Areas Hunted

Our primary base of operations is located north of the town of Gobabis, within the Steinhausen (ST)  district, about 2 hours drive east of Windhoek International Airport.  This particular section of our hunting area covers an area of 250,000 acres in one block, plus numerous additional blocks of land within two hours driving distance from the lodge are under contract for our hunting.  To the east of Gobabis and near the Botswana border, (about 2 hours from the lodge) is another area in the Kalahari Desert (KD) that offers several additional specie. And third, to the west of Windhoek approximately 1 1/2 hours drive is an area in the mountains known as the Khomas (KH) area.  It is this area that leopard and Mountain Zebra are hunted.

Unlike much, if not most of Namibia, none of the areas we hunt are contained within game fences.  The areas are open range and the game runs wild and free, a fact much appreciated by most of our discriminating clients.  In total we have in excess of 750,000 acres of hunting lands.

You can choose to pay for our Safari services in three (3) ways:

  1. For  client(s) who have specific needs, and specific specie in mind we offer our services based on a Daily Rate plus trophy fees for specie taken.

  2.

  3. We like to promote hunting to the younger generation, as they are our future in hunting.  As such, we offer a very special package to any parent who wishes to bring their child along to hunt with them on Safari.  These hunts are priced 2X1.  Both the parent and the child will have their own hunting permits and their own bag limits and specie selection, depending on the hunt that is chosen.

Number Of Hunting Days

We will book Safaris as short as 4 days for Plains Game, though we recommend 7 days as a realistic minimum to allow for travel, and most clients feel that 10 to 12 days is more appropriate considering the cost and time invested in traveling to Namibia.

Leopard hunts require a 12 day minimum booking, however this may be combined with any number of plains game specie.

For combinations of Leopard and Cheetah, a minimum of 18 days are required.

All hunts require two days of travel. (one day from Windhoek to camp and one day from camp back to Windhoek). These travel days are charged at $300 per day per hunter.  These days are in addition to the hunting days shown in the packages, they do not reduce the number of hunting days, but the cost of the travel days is in addition to the hunt booked.
